Coming by here on Monday was Bethany Clark Blakeney and her mother-in-law Dora Blakeney from Fort Hood, Texas, where they visited with Mrs. Dora’s son who is stationed there. It was a pleasant surprise when I realized it was Bethany.

Congratulations to my little granddaughter in-law, Ashley Cheek, she has graduated from ULM with her nurse practioner degree and has already aced her state board. Cheers to her for a job well done and we are so very proud of her!

She was a great mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew, me especially, I’ve eaten many, many good meals at her table! May God Bless each one touched by her homegoing.
