Homebuyer class set

PRIDE Community Association will host a First Time Homebuyer Class at 5:30 p.m. July 7-8 at the Rayville Civic Center in Rayville.

The class is free and open to the public and will cover topics on repairing your credit, budgeting, and obtaining financing. Certificates will be awarded to class participants and a housing specialist will be on hand to answer your questions on the homebuyer process.

Refreshments will be served and door prizes given away.

Anyone purchasing a home now until Dec. 31st is eligible for a $8,000 grant for first time home ownership. Again, the class is free but registration is required. Please contact Kemmeka at 749-5601 to reserve a seat. This program is sponsored by Louisiana Housing Finance Agency.
