Like A Child

Hear me, Blessed Jesus as I say my prayers today and tell me your are close to me and you’ll never go away, Tell me that you love me like the bible says you do, and tell me also, Jesus I can always come to you. Tell me you’ll understand me when other people don’t and though some may forget me just tell me that you won’t. Please Jesus stay real close to me at home, at school, and play for I will feel much braver if you’re never far away. And someday when I’m older I will show you it is true that even as a child my heart belongs to you.

Last Tuesday my little sister-in-law Denise, drove me to my eye doctor appointment in West Monroe which I appreciated very much. As we drove nearer home on Hwy 80 we passed the house place, she said “where is Mrs. Evelyn and how is Mrs. Marie? So we talked, got home and she when on home and within an hour I looked out the window at the store there was Evelyn and Marie. What a pleasant surprise. Oh did we visit and “remember when” an yes Denise got to see them also. Mrs. Evelyn, Billy and Sherry House, Jackie and Savannah are moving to New Orleans from Colorado. Billy will be in the Tulane Medical School in Pre-Med. Was a great evening. Also visiting with Mrs. Marie Smalling is Greg and Rocie Chowns, her parents, Miguel and Estella Arista from Lima Peru.

Enjoying a cruise to Cozamel last week was Wayne and Annette Vondenstien and Dan and Michelle Chasen and Wayne’s brothers and sisters. There was some 25 in the cruise crowd.

Monic Rawls vehicle (Sookie) was having transmission problems so she, Chelle, Reina and David struck out to the transmission people in Philadelphia Mississippi to get her fixed. They enjoyed a couple of nights at Uncle Joel and Aunt Glenda’s camp, so secluded they loved it. Got her on the road ready again and Aunt Glenda returned home with them. Terry and Denise Thompson enjoyed the weekend in Shreveport with their children, Lance and Emmalyn, Gracie Ruth come home with them for a visit before school starts.
