• Rayville Masonic Lodge #209 will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 25. The lodge meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

• The Rayville boys basketball team will face Northeast Louisiana High School in a playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday at the Rayville High School gym. Tickets are $7.

• Rayville Youth signup for baseball and softball will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Tim McGraw Sports Complex. Forms are also available at local elementary and junior high schools as well as Dawn Mims law office on Glenda Street.

• Delhi Dixie Girls summer softball league registration is underway. Young ladies ages 3 - 18 can register from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Delhi park. • New Beginnings Christian Ministries, 204 Morgan St., Rayville, will host its annual Black History Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 28.

• Westside Baptist Church on Acel Street in Rayville will host a fourth-year appreciation program for pastor and first lady, Timothy and Jennifer Tennant at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

• Marge Roberts will preach her first sermon at 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at Macedonia Baptist Church of Rayville. Refreshments will be served.

• Hamlett Temple C.M.E. Church, 406 Scott St., will observe Black History Month at 3 p.m. Feb. 28.

• St. Peter’s Rock Baptist Church will host a Black History Celebration at 6 p.m. Feb. 28.

• North Central Baptist Church, located at 1374 Highway 859, Delhi, will host 2 Talk 4 2, Feb. 28 through March 3. Sunday service will began at 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday services will began at 6 p.m.. This is a puppet ministry for children of all ages. • The Mangham Power Breakfast is held at 7 a.m. each Wednesday at Mangham United Methodist Church. The power breakfast is held at 7 a.m. each Wednesday for all community youth. • Richland Parish Schools will host district wide parent/teacher conferences in Delhi, Holly Ridge, Mangham, Rayville and Start on March 5. Times will vary and interested parents should contact their respective schools. Report cards will be given during the conference.

• Mangham Baptist Church will host a gospel singing at 6 p.m. March 6.

• The National Family Caregiver Support Program can provide personal services at no cost to caregivers through the Council on Aging. Please contact the Richland Voluntary COA at 728-2646 or United Home Services at 329-9264 or 888-799-9968 to learn more about the program.

• Rayville High School’s earliest Palmetto issue is the 1927 edition. The school is missing the books for 1929-1941, 1943-1945, 1970, 1974, 1982, 1983, 1991, 1994, 1995, 1997, 2002 and 2003. Anyone who would like to donate a copy of any of these years to RHS is asked to call the school at 728-3296.
