Bertha O. Pipes

A memorial service for Bertha Pipes, age 98, a homemaker, of Rayville, will be at 10:15AM Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the St. Davids Episcopal Church in Rayville, with Father Roy Myers officiating.

Mrs. Pipes was born May 29, 1911 and passed away March 7, 2010 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She is preceded in death by her husband, L. Noland Pipes, Sr., five brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by two sons; L. Noland Pipes, Jr. and wife Mary of Memphis, TN and William “Bill” Edward Pipes, Sr. and wife Susie, grandchildren: William Edward Pipes, Jr. and wife Susie, Elizabeth Pipes Morris and husband Ted, Jeanie Pipes Lowry and husband Eddie Ray, Sarah Pipes Jordan and husband Tony, and Marianna Pipes Heimbach and husband Jeff, ten great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. at the St. Davids Episcopal Parish House in Rayville, Saturday, March 13, 2010.

In lieu of flower memorials make donations to St. Judes or Multiple Sclerosis.
