Accident backs up traffic
Posted February 3rd, 2010
A four-vehicle accident snarled traffic near Rayville Monday afternoon, but no one was injured.
Louisiana State Troopers responded to the accident on Interstate 20 near Rayville after the driver of a westbound vehicle lost control and sideswiped another westbound vehicle.
The second car entered the median before striking two more vehicles in the eastbound lane.
No one was injured as a result of the accident, but State Troopers had to shut down the eastbound lane of the I-20 for about 40 minutes, causing traffic to back up until the road could be cleared.
